Summer fun
We made it up to upstate NY for a week this summer. It was nice to see everyone there. The weather seems to finally be getting cooler out. We are outside tonight enjoying a fire, We roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows. Its nice spending time with the family. Jean's niece Shelby is up from Kansas enjoying the evening with us.

The snow is gone and after a warm rain we had on monday everything is greening up. Its nice to look out the window and see green grass instead of snow covered or brown grass. The boys are enjoying the warmer temp playing outside.
Spring is here
I think spring has finally arrived. This morning it was warm out when I left for work. So warm that I didn't need a jacket. Things are starting to dry out outside. I am hoping to pick up the yard before the grass gets tall and get the mower deck ready to use. I need to touch up the paint on the bottom of it and grease it.
Winter is back
We moved into the house in June. 6 months later most of everything is unpacked. I still need to organize the garage and find out what do to with some of the stuff that found its way in there. Our first Thanksgiving at the new place was great. My aunt and uncle from upstate NY came down along with Jean's family from North East Ohio. We ended up with a white Christmas and a green New Years .... no we didn't come into some large sum of money .... the snow melted by then.
Today January 8th the ground is white again.
